Loved this blog, just had to share it.

These need to be wall lights with a reading spotlight as well…..
This is from Lyco. It’s nice but I would like to find one with a bit more character. I think I may have to change the shade.
This one is much nicer from Limelighting.
I like the lines of this one and the simplicity. It’s from Light Smart.
I found one I loved on the Laura Ashley website, here it is…….
And while we are on the subject, here’s a few more which I think would complement the design…..
This one is by Andrew Martin at John Lewis. Really love it and think it goes with our Mural choice, what do you think Partner in Crime?
We have just been to look at a bedroom for a new client. She would like a whole room re-vamped in muted colours to make the space light and airy with a feeling of extra space. The client also fancied a mural on one wall. I have come up with a few that I think she might like….
I know which one I like best, I am now awaiting Nikki, my partner in crime, to give me her much valued opinion. All from Wallpaper Direct.
Red can look amazing when used properly in Interior Design. It can add real drama and passion to a scheme just by adding a couple of accessories, cushions or an accent wall.
Here are a few red Interiors which caught my eye….
Red can sometimes be quite overpowering but I think this design works well with the creams and whites balancing the reds of the walls and cushions. Photo from Home Design Gallery
Got to have a bit of boho in here somewhere….I think the hints of red in the design add a really unusual finish, I love it. Photo from Little Blue Deer
Flowers add subtle accents to any design. I love the tarnished gold vase in the first design. The red walls in the second design look great with the pictures and photos which are all a little bit wonky, very shabby chic, love it! Photos by gaelleleboulicaut.com
Beautiful wallpaper complemented by the tulip chair. Photo from Styled Haven.
The reds and greens go so well together and the patterns and textures add so much depth. Photo from Apartment Therapy.
I really wanted to find a red bathroom too and this was the one I liked. I think the bath is amazing and it really complements the toile wallpaper. Photo from Home Decor.
As it’s the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee I thought I had better find some red, white and blue designs, so here they are…..
The Union Jack is very ‘Cool Britannia’ at the moment. These designs are by Jan Constantine. I love the big bunting hanging at the back, you can never have too much bunting! Nice clock too!
This is a bit of a twist on the Royal red white and blue, this design is pink, white and blue which I think really softens the look. Marcus Design Inc.
Beautiful sofa by Ashley Manor.
This design by Miles Redd shows how red, white and blue look great with black leather and floor tiles and deep brown wood. There is so much going on in this hallway but it doesn’t look cluttered or over crowded. I love the shiny blue walls, and the plants really soften the look.
Union Jack Splash back by Topps Tiles. This is great, not sure I would like it in my kitchen as I think I would get a bit bored of it. Nice to look at though as a photo.
Wow, the wallpaper is stunning and I have no idea where it is from, I am going to carry on looking for it though. This whole design works perfectly in my opinion. I love the red mirror, it is gorgeous. From View From My Heels blog.
Love how this shot is taken through the door, it really makes me want to check out what is inside. The cream headboard works so well against the beautiful blue walls, the red accents look amazing and the wooden floor brings the whole look together. Design from Bossy Color Blog.
